I'd always enjoyed watching female impersonator Charles Pierce perform his Bette Davis routine. Pierce had wit and good comedic timing (see him perform in a video at the end of this post). Imagine my surprise when I came across the entertaining video, The Battle of the Bette Davis Impersonators, from J. D. Doyle, the curator of Queer Music Heritage!

House of Cards met a unique fate. The series that ushered in Netflix’s golden age of content glut is ending because of a deluge of sexual-assault and harassment allegations against its star, Kevin Spacey. Netflix’s decision to call House of Cards after its upcoming sixth season was seen as a relatively swift response to the disturbing allegations—the cancellation was announced less than 24 hours after actor Anthony Rapp came forward.

When openly gay journalist, Anderson Cooper appeared on the morning talk show, Live with Kelly. Anderson, who looks very fit in his black tee shirt BTW, joined host Kelly Ripa as they were guided through some X-Treme Firefighters Workout routines by hunky & handsome fitness trainer, Paul Lauer.

After three seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Julian Morris built a following with magnetic turns in horror fare like Cry Wolf (2005), Donkey Punch (2008) and cult-fave Sorority Row (2009). Though originally from England, he honed a foolproof American accent studying his Valkyrie (2007) co-star Tom Cruise.

Hot off a role on New Girl (2014-2015) and a return to the ABC Family teen drama Pretty Little Liars as Dr. Wren Kingston this year, just in time for that series’ sign-off, Morris appears to be making a clean break with less challenging roles, stunning in this summer’s British miniseries Man in an Orange Shirt as a gay man navigating empty hookup culture who discovers his grandfather was himself closeted — and had far more serious roadblocks to maneuver in the ‘40s.

Morris is currently playing Watergate lid-blower Bob Woodward in Mark Felt: The Man Who Brought Down the White House, and will next be seen in a new film adaptation of Little Women.

Jeffery Tambor as Maura Pfefferman a fictional character on TV series 'Transparent'

Facing two accusations of sexual harassment by members of the Transparent team that he has strongly denied, Jeffery Tambor today has decided not to return to the Amazon series.

Even before the first claims, Tambor’s option for a Season 5 had not actually been picked up, sources tell Deadline. Amazon is currently investigating both allegations and has been speaking to series creator Jill Soloway, members of the production and Tambor. While a stunner on one level, this move by Golden Globe winner Tambor comes as the show itself was seemingly gearing up to shuffle him off the show. READ MORE

Donald Trump (L) and Harvey Levin (R)

Harvey Levin, founder of the popular gossip site TMZ, recently visited Donald Trump at The White House and some of Levin's staff are NOT happy about it. "A number of TMZ staffers are reportedly frustrated with the openly gay Levin’s ties to the new Republican administration," reports Greg Hernandez. The revelation about the relationship between these two high profile men explains the recent favorable coverage by TMZ of Donald Trump and family. Hernandez adds that "Levin’s roughly one-hour Oval Office visit was not noted on Trump’s public schedule and came a day after the president’s first address to a joint session of the US Congress. Trump’s chuminess with Levin comes at a time that he has declared war against most mainstream news organizations including CNN, The New York Times and the Washington Post." Looks like Harvey Levin, an openly gay Jewish man, is a full-fledged quisling now. Shame on him.

Coronation Street star Rob Mallard has thanked fans for their support after revealing that he is gay. Mallard plays Daniel Osbourne on the long running soap opera, Coronation Street, and spoke for the first time about his sexuality in Gay Times magazine. Mallard took to Twitter to thank people for their support. He said: “Thanks for all the kind words following the @GayTimesMag interview! Genuinely touched by people’s kindness.” The actor came out to his friends and family at the age of 17. Mallard told Gay Times that he never planned to keep his sexuality a secret but was concerned that viewers wouldn’t believe his relationship with women on the TV show.

2016 was a banner year for actor Garrett Clayton with two high profile projects. October saw the release of the film King Cobra in which Garrett portrayed gay porn star Brent Corrigan opposite James Franco and Christian Slater. Although the movie received mixed reviews most critics agreed that Garrett was on point (see some of the sexy stills from the film below).

Actors James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender starred together in 2011's hit film, X-Men: First Class. McAvoy played Charles Xavier (Professor X) and Fassbender played Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto). The pairing of the two men was a big hit with fans which resulted in the slash fiction community often portraying the Hollywood hunks in a romantic relationship.

The other night on The Graham Norton Show, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender were coaxed into re-creating some of the fan art! Using the movie magic of green screen the two actors had a good laugh doing it. Take a look!
