Our Crush of The Day is Matt Rood. Matt was crowned Mr Gay Europe 2017 at Pride Park in Stockholm, Sweden, during Stockholm Pride, August 5, 2017.

Before he won the competition, Matt shared, "Taking part would enable me to use this as a platform to help promote equality in the adoption and fostering services. As a former foster carer and an out and proud gay man I have knowledge and experience of this subject and would like to encourage a positive attitude globally. This opportunity has excited me from the very first moment."

When he's not winning contests the handsome 37 year-old is a professional dog walker and dog trainer.

I gotta say I'm crushing hard for New Zealand swimmer Amini Fonua and the 'out' and 'proud' stance he's taken by wearing the swimsuit in the picture below!

Dr. Mikhail Varshavski, better known as Doctor Mike, is based in New York City and recently partnered up with Dr. Jake Deutsch, the founding partner of CURE Urgent Care, to help get people to visit their doctor more often. Apparently, some people wait years to get even a basic check up. He says: “By partnering with Dr. Jake, my hope is to encourage more people to visit their doctor. We are both very active on social media and believe physicians need to become more relatable. Together we want to break the antiquated notion that doctors are superiors who give order to their patients.” Glad he's trying to make a difference and posting on Instagram really helps make doctors seem more like the rest of us, albeit, he is genetically blessed (but, we won't hold that against him, will we? Ha).

I've had a serious crush on Sam Elliott since the 1970's. Do you remember the 1976 film, "Lifeguard"? The sexy photos here are from the movie. The hirsute Hollywood hunk was the epitome of masculinity at the time and still is in my opinion. To this day, I can never look at a lifeguard and not think, 'Sam Elliott', LOL. I have such a crush on Christian Vincent. Christian is a talented actor, dancer and choreographer from Canada. Christian is best known for playing the character of Ricky on the now defunct TV show, Noah's Arc! As you can see he's g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s!

My crush of the day is American actor, Chris Carmack. He's probably best known as Luke from the now defunct TV series The O.C.

Carmack has been keeping busy honing his acting chops by appearing in the Off Broadway production of Entertaining Mr. Sloane (pictured left). Carmack's co-stars were Alec Baldwin, Jan Maxwell and Richard Easton.

Carmack made his London stage debut in a rare revival of Tennessee Williams' Summer and Smoke, a play unperformed in London for 55 years.

Most recently the handsome actor guest-starred on TV's Desperate Housewives (playing Susan Mayer's cousin Tim).

Chris Carmack's film career continues with Butterfly Effect: Revelation, which is scheduled to be released in theaters in January of 2009.

I have a wee bit of a crush on Channing Tatum. Here he is on the set of his new movie G.I. Joe as the character of Conrad "Duke" Hauser. Vrooom!

Yesterday, I did a post about the recent Knots Landing TV reunion. It was a fun soap to watch to be sure - but - if truth be told - I watched it for one of my favourite crushes: Ted Shackelford. Sigh. Ted was fit and blonde. By current standards of male beauty he probably wouldn't make much of a blip on the hunk-o-meter. So many male actors and models today are hairless and unnaturally lean in order to achieve that super-buffed look. Not that I'm complaining. Ted's beauty is very attractive because of his unpolished, manly physique.

My crush everyday is Hugh Jackman and no I'm not stalking him. Hugh Jackman has been filming Wolverine for a few weeks now and all the time in the gym has certainly paid off! Here are some pics of my Hugh (with his son Oscar), enjoying a nice sunny day at the beach. After seeing these pics I think many will agree with me when I say, OH MY F**CKING GOD! Grrrrr.
