"The Greatest of All Time Top Dance Club Artists ranking is based on weekly performance on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart, from its Aug. 28, 1976, inception through Aug. 27, 2016," writes Gordon Murray.
It's not a big surprise to see Madonna land on top of Billboard's chart but it sure was nice to see queer artists like the Pet Shop Boys make the Top 5 - the only duo/group to do so! You can read more about the list here.
Recently, Madonna was honored as Billboard's Woman of The Year and the Queen of Pop gave a powerful speech about her experiences being a woman in the music industry (watch the video below).
