Double Play: Sebastian Castro's "You're Gay" and "Bubble"

Actor-singer Sebastian Castro was born Benjamin Brian Castro and raised in New York state. By the time he was 17 he was thrown out of the house by his religious parents because he was gay. Since then however, he has carved out a successful career for himself in film and music. He appeared in the 2013 Hong Kong movie, " Voyage" and had a viral hit song, "Bubble", also in 2013.

Castro encourages other gay men to not live in the closet. He says of his experience as an out gay man:
“My parents, as Jehovah’s Witnesses, were not supportive when I came out six years ago,” he relates. “I know how it feels to be alone and rejected… to want to take your own life. If, by coming out, I can help someone feel less lonesome, well, that’s why I’m in social media.”
Sebastian Castro writes cheeky pop tunes with an infectious beat. "You're Gay" follows in the same vein as his other hit, "Bubble". Enjoy!
