I mentioned in my profile of automobile designer Bryan Thompson that he has a car design scholarship. One of the ways Thompson hopes to raise money for the scholarship is producing a calendar.

The calendar is in the early planning stages but will feature a collection of twelve men. "Each one is shown with a car that holds personal significance. Some are designers, some work in car-related areas, but they all have this in common: Extraordinary talent, a passion for cars, and a story to tell of triumph over adversity," explains Thompson. "This calendar is meant to inspire that young adult out there who has extraordinary talent, but has become timid because they've been told that being gay is shameful. My hope is that they will hang the images of these strong, successful professionals on their wall and be inspired to know that being unique, talented and gay are attributes to celebrate. "

I certainly like what I see! Woof!
