BIOGRAPHY
Hugh Jackman is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood and on Broadway. The Sydney-born actor is a stage-trained performer having studied and worked extensively in his native Australia. Hugh Jackman is married to actress Deborra-Lee Furness. The couple have two children, Oscar and Ava.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Movie-goers and film critics took note of Hugh early in his career, for performances in Erskineville Kings (1999), Paperback Hero (1999). In 2000, Hugh's career exploded when he was cast as Logan/Wolverine in the world-wide box-office hit, X-Men.
With his easy charm and handsome good looks, Hugh was cast as the romantic lead in Someone Like You... (2001, with Ashley Judd) and Kate & Leopold (2001, with Meg Ryan). Hugh was now a bonafide international movie star.

Looking for even more challenges Hugh signed on for the film adaption of the hit Broadway musical, Les Misérables, and enthralled audiences and critics with his performance as Jean Valjean.
Released in late 2012, Les Misérables, became another box-office success for Hugh and earned Hugh his first Academy Award nomination as Best Actor!

In 2004, Hugh Jackman won the Tony Award and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Australian singer/songwriter Peter Allen in the hit musical The Boy from Oz.
In 2009, Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig co-starred on Broadway in a limited engagement run of the play, A Steady Rain.
In 2011, Hugh Jackman returned to Broadway in a new hit show, Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway.
TELEVISION
For hosting the 2004 Tony Awards, Hugh Jackman won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Performer in a Variety, Musical or Comedy program.
