"Designing Women" co-star Annie Potts released a statement via PEOPLE:
"Dixie Carter was a Goddess. The kind of wife and mother that every mother hopes their daughter will become and the kind of friend that is absolutely irreplaceable. She loved fiercely and was adored in return."EW.com's Tim Stack put together (via Youtube) Dixie Carter's five best "Designing Women" moments as her character Julia Sugarbaker. Check out all of them here.
"I find you rude, lazy, horny and dumb" was one of my favourites. Tim wrote a quick synopsis: When Sugarbakers is hired to decorate the homes of a man’s wife and mistress, Julia has difficulty keeping her feelings to herself (“I find you rude, lazy, horny and dumb”).
