"Hermosa Beach detectives determined Ayala contacted a male Asian Hermosa Beach resident on April 1 through a social networking site, then met at the victim's apartment. Police said Ayala had a handgun and told the victim to put a television, computer and camera into the victim's vehicle, then demanded the man withdraw money from an ATM. He eventually ordered the victim out of the car in El Segundo, and the victim then called Hermosa Beach police.
