Antigay attack in Brooklyn, New York

"Police say that five men beat another man in Brooklyn, New York last week while yelling antigay slurs," reports The Advocate.

According to the New York Daily News, the attack occurred on March 2 at 12:50 a.m. while the 32-year-old Latino man walked on Luquer Street in the Carrroll Gardens section of Brooklyn. He was leaving a gay party at a bar. “The attackers, who were also Latinos, called the victim a ‘f----t’ and punched him numerous times in the face, knocking him down and causing him to suffer a gash on the back of his head, police sources said,” according to the Daily News.
