I was hoping American Idol was in its dying days, but no such luck, since 'everyone's favourite lesbian', Ellen DeGeneres is going to be the new American Idol judge who replaces Paula Abdul this coming season. I'm sure Ellen will help boost the show's ratings, which have been in a steady decline for a few seasons now. I can't help but wonder if this is ultimately a bad thing - is it too much Ellen? When they turn on you, watch out Ellen! Just ask Rosie O'Donnell, the former 'everyone's favourite lesbian'. And just what are celebs thinking about Ellen's new gig?
