Daniel Radcliffe says he wants to play a drag queen and admits he drinks vodka and Diet Coke like a 'pansy ass'. The Harry Potter child star has decided to show off a dark adult side ahead of his debut run on Broadway in Peter Shaffer's play Equus – where he'll strip again like he did in the West End. The blue-eyed boy insists he's not just a pretty face any more, taking the Mickey out of his favoured alcoholic vice telling he drinks it 'cause I'm a pansy-ass civilian.'

However, he says after his run in front of New York's bright lights he does want to doll up and push the boundaries with ambitions to play a drag queen. 'I think part of me would love to play a drag queen…just because it would be an excuse to wear loads of eye make-up', says the 19-year-old. And any obsessive Potter fans hoping to tie-down the young star, think again as he says the dating game is well off his radar.
