Pop singer, Mika comes out (finally!) as bisexual

Mika came out as bisexual (?) in a new interview with Dutch magazine Gay&Night. Mika always acted coy when responding to questions about his sexuality: "I never talk about anything to do with my sexuality. I just don't think I need to. People ask me all the time. But I just don't see the point," he was quoted as saying in contactmusic.com. In the new interview he says to "just call me bisexual." Alrighty then.

GayEU reports:

'Just call me bisexual'
Mika once again graces the cover of Gay&Night magazine, to promote the release of his sophomore album The Boy Who Knew Too Much. In the accompanying interview Mika finally addresses the rumors about his sexuality, for the first time ever: "I've never ever labeled myself. But having said that; I've never limited my life, I've never limited who I sleep with. So, whatever. (…) Call me whatever you want. Call me bisexual, if you need a term for me."

Role model
When asked if he doesn't think he'd make a good role model for closeted teenagers, he offers an interesting answer: "There are ways of being a role model without having to always having to establish yourself with a label. Let's say if you're a 16-year-old guy, and you're not sure about your sexuality, you should be as free as you want." according to the singer. "Having a role model who makes you feel like it's alright to do whatever you want, without the pressure of a label, I think that's a good thing as well. I think there's a million different ways to do it, there isn't only one. And I hope I'm right."
