UK Telegraph reports:
Christina Aguilera arrived at the Africa Rising Festival at London's Royal Albert Hall dressed in a multicoloured, geometrically patterned top, black leather trousers and purple platform shoes. ThisDay Africa Rising Festival is the finale of the African charity's worldwide series of fashion & music events and is intended to raise awareness of African issues by finding "sustainable solutions" rather than by simply identifying the "problems" facing the continent.
Aguilera was to share a stage at the event with the former US Secretary of State Colin Powell, who was to deliver the keynote speech. Retired general Powell did not seem at all camera shy as he walked down the red carpet to the event standing around and allowing himself to be photographed. The event, hosted by Trevor Nelson, was due to feature music from Seal and catwalk shows from international designers, including Ozwald Boateng & Chris Aire. Naomi Campbell, Alek Wek, Tyson Beckford were all to model at the event.
