[St John's, Newfoundland, Canada] Pride week celebrates the lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgendered (LBGT) community in the city and will be commemorated this year by a number of events including today's lunchtime flag raising at City Hall. While the events will highlight issues including homophobia, awareness and equality, the focus will be on celebration of LBGT diversity, heritage and successes made to date.
